Canadian rock band Nickelback will play the Darling's Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor this summer.

Nickelback, along with opener Daughtry, will bring the "Feed the Machine Tour" to the Bangor stage on Friday, July 7.

Nickelback, whose 2006 hit "How You Remind Me" spent 49 weeks on the Billboard chart and peaked at No.1, is one of the most commercially successful Canadian bands in history. "Photograph" peaked at No. 2 on the charts in 2005, spending 33 weeks in the Top 100.

"Rockstar" from the band's 2007 album "All the Right Reasons" has more than 62 million views on YouTube.

Nickelback was scheduled to play the city in 2015 but had to cancel the show (as well as the rest of their North American tour) after lead singer Chad Kroeger experienced a medical issue.

Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning on Saturday, Feb.11, with four-packs available for $80.
