The drummer for rocker Ted Nugent will pay a $1,000 fine for the drunken slow-speed joyride he took after the band performed on the Bangor Waterfront last summer.

Mick Brown, 50, of Cave Creek. Ariz., received the fine after pleading guilty on Tuesday  to operating under the influence of intoxicants, WABI reports. Brown entered the plea through his attorney at the Penobscot Judicial Center in Bangor. Brown's license also was suspended for 90 days as a result of the incident.

As part of a plea agreement, three other charges -- driving to endanger, theft and assault -- were dropped.

While Nugent and his band were in Bangor for a July 8 concert with Styx and REO Speedwagon, Brown hijacked a golf cart from backstage and drove recklessly -- at one point with two women on board -- on Front Street in Bangor while intoxicated. Officers eventually caught up with Brown — who was toting a couple of female passengers on his joyride — on a pedestrian walkway, where he allegedly got physical with a security guard before being forcibly removed from the cart.

The judge has also ordered me to play this rocking video of Brown while on tour with Nugent in 2010:
