Open House Will Welcome Newcomers To Ellsworth

If you're new to the City of Ellsworth, then here's a event for you!

Come on out and meet everyone during an Open House put on by the City, the Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce, and the Ellsworth Library.

According to a post on Facebook, reps from city government, schools, businesses and other community organizations will be there to meet you and to answer your questions about your new surroundings.

While you're meeting new friends, you be able to learn more about services in the area, programs, groups and clubs, places to volunteer and more.

Folks there will even have a "welcome gift bag" for you.  Bring the kids, and stories will be read to them right there in the Boat Room of the library.  Refreshments will be served. The event is free.

It happens this Wednesday, the 21st, between 4 and 7 p.m. at the Library, drop in anytime.
