Oreos Are As Addictive As Cocaine

Ah Ha! I knew it! A new study showed that Oreos are just as addictive as cocaine. The researchers showed that it effects the same part of the brain as coke does and gives our little pleasure center a dose of the hormone that says I’d like some more please.

The team of scientists from a college in Connecticut used rats to test their theory and found that not only was their reaction to the cookies the same as it had been for other rats  exposed to cocaine but like you they eat the cream filling first.

The up-shot according to these scientists is that high fat and high sugar combined triggers the brain in the same way that drugs do. This gives credence to the belief that many obese persons are suffering from a verifiable addiction.

Needless to say the researchers added that after seeing the effect the sugary treat had on the brain they haven’t touched another one.
