A field goal by Stephen Gostkowski was the nail in the coffin for the Houston Texans. The Patriots end up with a 41-28 win over the Texans.

Tom Brady threw for 344 yards, and three touchdowns in the win. The big star of the game however was Shane Vereen who was an offensive leader on the ground with 41 yards and a score, and 83 yards receiving and two touchdowns. Wes Welker led the Patriots with 131 yards on eight receptions.

Houston had a nice effort, but in the end the Patriots were still a bit too much for them to handle. Now, the Patriots will make preparations for a rematch against the Baltimore Ravens.
