Penobscot Narrows Bridge OPEN [UPDATE]

At 7:15 PM, Monday December 30th, the Maine Department of Transportation announced that the Penobscot Narrows Bridge would be open tonight, December 30th from 8 PM to 9 PM

The Bridge will be open tonight between 8 PM and 9 PM

The Maine Department of Transportation has posted some amazing photos of the ice on the bridge.

The Maine Department of Transportation suggests you use these alternate routes.

Five or six cars were damaged by falling ice on Sunday, Dec. 29, which led to the bridge closing.

The Penobscot Narrows Bridge connects Verona Island and Prospect.
