Police Investigate Death of Woman Who May Have Jumped From Moving Truck

State Police are investigating the death of a 33-year-old woman who may have jumped from the back of a moving pickup truck driven by her boyfriend early Sunday morning in The Forks.

Kimberly Hill of Wiscasset died in the incident along Route 201. Hill's boyfriend, 29-year-old Tyler Poland of Greene, reported the incident to police. Poland told police he placed Hill in the back of the pickup and was driving south.

Hill was dead when first responders met up with Poland's truck in The Forks, which is about 50 miles north of Skowhegan

An autopsy was conducted on Hill's body Sunday at the State Medical Examiner's Office in Augusta.

The truck and other evidence from the scene will be examined at the State Police Crime Lab.
