Police Investigate Shooting Death of Woman in Her Home

State and Windham police are investigating the shooting death of a woman who was killed in her home earlier today.

Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says few details are being released, as investigators work to determine what happened. What is known is that the woman was home with her husband and their three children when the shooting occurred.

The victim's husband is being questioned by detectives at the Windham Police Department. The shooting was reported at about 6:30 Thursday morning at the home on Brookhaven Drive, which is off Route 302.
