State Police continue to investigate last month's hit and run crash in Alfred that left a young man seriously injured, police said on Thursday.

Troopers have interviewed nearly two dozen people who were attending an outdoor party that took place a short distance from where the man was struck on November 21, said Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland.

The early morning incident took place on the dirt portion of Kennebunk Road.

John Caramihalis, 21, of Alfred continues to recover from the injuries he suffered in the accident.

Troopers now are trying to locate a green or teal colored pickup truck that was in the area at the time of the accident.

The Chevrolet pickup with a short bed may have a hood that is painted black or it may have a primer color that is different from the rest of the truck, McCausland said.

Anyone with information on the truck is asked to call state police at their dispatch center in Gray at 657-3030.
