Portland Man’s Nose is Bitten Off in a Drunken Fight!

Police in Portland have charged a man with biting off part of his drinking buddy's nose.  Ouch!  The schnoz was snipped this past Saturday around 1:30am at the Travel Lodge on Brighton Avenue.

Apparently, Brian Oliver and Michael Nickles, both transients, rented a room to spend the night in drinking.  The two got into a fight.  Oliver told police that Nickles "jumped up on top of him and started biting"!

Police peaked through the motel room's window when they arrived and saw Oliver covered in blood.  Part of his nose was missing, along with a substantial part of his lower lip. Nickles has been charged with assault and is currently residing in the Cumberland County Jail.

How does Oliver smell?  We don't know, but we're hoping that he has showered by now.
