The Rangely Lakes Snowmobile Club will go forward with their snowmobile festival despite the presumed deaths of three sledders. For about a quarter a century the Rangeley Lakes Snowmobile Club has held their annual 'Snodio.' The presumed deaths of three missing sledders and death of another has certainly damped the spirits of many, but the tradition will carry on.

The 'Snodio' chairman told the Sun Journal the losses are 'unfortunate' but the event is one that many people plan their vacations around. In addition the 'Snodio' helps boost the local economy as 3,000 to 6,000 sledders are expected to attend.

The 'Snodio' is set for January 24-26th.
