Remember Not To Pack Your Pot In Your Suitcase

So I guess it is official marijuana is legal in the state of Maine.  We are now added to the ranks of California, Nevada, Oregon, Massachusetts, Alaska,Washington and Colorado for the legal use of recreational use of pot. 

Hey if you are one of those celebrating I won't judge but you should remember it is still illegal in 43 other states so if you're flying to grandma's for Christmas don't put it into your suitcase or carry on a few things might happen.  One: They will seize it at the airport and throw it away or Two: you'll get through with it and be arrested on the other end of you flight.  Good news is I hear the turkey loaf in the county lock up isn't that bad. Or according to the video above three is getting a fine of up to $2000.00 Yikes!

So the up shot is toke all you like here but know as soon as you step foot on that airplane it is illegal, period.

According to the video below medical circumstances might be different but you want to declare it before boarding and have your documents with you if you want to try.
