Yes, believe it or not, camping season will be here before you know it!

The Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation & Forestry will begin accepting reservation for campsites within Maine's state parks this week and next!

Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands' reservations system and call center will be open for Sebago Lake State Park campground reservations only on February 1 at 9:00 a.m.

Reservations for all other state park campgrounds will begin on Monday, February 5th, at 9 a.m.

Good news, campers!  There will be no fee increase this year!

A press release states that reservations will be taken via four different ways:

  1. Online at www.campwithme.com (24-7);
  2. By calling in state at 800-332-1501; or (out-of-state) 207-624-9950 (9:00 a.m. - 4:00  p.m., on Business Days);
  3. By mailing reservations to: Department of Agriculture, Conservation & Forestry, Bureau of Parks and Lands, ATTN.: Reservations, 22 SHS, Augusta, ME 04333. Mailed Sebago Lake reservation requests must not be postmarked before Feb. 1, 2018; and, Feb 5, 2018 for all other parks.
  4. By dropping off completed reservation forms, which will be processed during business hours at the Augusta office.

Yearly Maine State Park passes are $55 for an individual, or $105 for a vehicle pass, that vehicle can have up to 17 occupants. Daily fees for all of Maine's State Parks range anywhere between $3 and $6.
