The late billionaire philanthropist David Rockefeller's summer home on Maine's Mount Desert Island has sold for $19 million.

In his will David left $20 million to the Land and Garden Preserve of Mount Desert Island in Seal Harbor and $5 million to the Maine Coast Heritage Trust. Money from the sale will help fulfill part of the will.

It's been rumored that Donald Trump bought the estate for the asking price ($19 million) but the real estate company that handled the sale declined  to identify the buyer. This rumor was later learned to be "fake news."
