The Red Sox losing skid has now reached eight games after Sunday's loss to Seattle 8-6. In this game, the Sox got enough offense to win but the pitching couldn't hold down the Mariners.

The Sox finish their homestand 3-8. They are now 18 games below .500 at 56-74.

Allen Webster gave up six runs in the first 4 1/3 innings. The Sox also left 15 runners on base.

One bright spot perhaps - Mookie Betts was on base four times with two singles and two walks.
