Wow, a hotel with "in-room" keg service.  What more would craft beer lovers want?

Last month, Shipyard Brewing Company and Bateman Partner submitted plans to the City of Portland that would renovate the company's current brewery, build a three story residential building along with a 360 space parking garage, and also construct Maine's first "brewtel", which would be a 105 room hotel dedicated to craft beer!

Guests of the brewtel would take in the entire "brewing experience" with tours of the brewery, and would be able to enjoy first floor "tasting rooms."  The staff would be fully educated about the brewing process, and may even be able to deliver a keg directly to your room.  There would be a in-house television channel dedicated to craft beer.

The Dogfish Inn located Lewes Harbor in Delaware is something that's comparable to what's being planned in Portland, it was designed with "beer lovers and nature in mind",  but that's hundreds of miles away!
