Slugger the Sea Dog Walking From Boston to Portland

The Portland Sea Dogs mascot is on a mission!

Slugger is currently walking from Fenway Park in Boston to Hadlock field in Portland to raise money for Tourette syndrome. He left Sunday and is expected to arrive in Portland on Thursday, just in time for the 6PM Sea Dogs game against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.

Slugger has been keeping folks updated on his travels on his Facebook page. He says he hopes to raise $20,000 for organizations that fund research and support folks living with Tourette syndrome.
