Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac has become the third member of Dave Grohl‘s Sound City Players to be announced as a performer or speaker at the SXSW Music Conference in Austin, Texas next month. A performance from the all-star band hasn’t been officially announced, but it seems as likely as the sun rising.

Nicks will speak at 5PM on March 15 in the Austin Convention Center. This event will be open to all Music and Platinum badge holders, as well as those with artist wristbands. Grohl will be the keynote speaker at SXSW, while John Fogerty will perform. At least he says he’ll be playing, according to Vintage Vinyl News. SXSW hasn’t officially announced him as a performer yet.

The three make up part of the Sound City Players, a group built by Grohl to promote his ‘Sound City‘ documentary about the history of the legendary Sound City studios in Los Angeles. She joined the group to perform ‘You Can’t Fix This’ on ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’ last month. In addition to appearing in that film, Nicks recently produced her own documentary called ‘In Your Dreams.’

Ten days after her speaking engagement, Nicks’ interview with Oprah Winfrey will air on the OWN Network. That episode has already been taped, and it’s expected that Nicks will speak candidly about her history with drugs. On April 4 Fleetwood Mac will begin their 2013 North American tour in Columbus, Ohio. They’ll play 34 dates this spring and summer.
