Black Friday is starting early...

I threw a fit when I saw a few articles online that said stores will open for shoppers on Thanksgiving. I love Thanksgiving! It's great sitting down with family from far away, chatting and of course EATING! However that seems to have taken a back seat as stores look to get shoppers in line earlier.

Don't get me wrong, I love a good shopping spree. It was a family tradition for the Wolfe pack to go Black Friday shopping. However, for me, it lost its charm when the shopping day turned to be more of a shopping boot camp.

There is logic behind the early jump on the holiday shopping season. This year due to some calender irregularities there is six days less (this year) between Thanksgiving and Christmas. This means big box stores like Macy's, Best Buy, JC Penny, Khol's, Target and Sears have about a week less to rake in shoppers.

Will you take advantage of the early start?
