Yesterday was a beautiful day to check out Schoodic Point, one of the many wonders of this state.  A lot of other folks had the same idea too, and most were from Maine.  We guessed that everyone wanted to beat the tourists.

Admission to this part of Acadia National Park is still free, although you would need a paid park pass is you'd like to take advantage of trails and amenities of the new Schoodic Woods Campground.
