Augusta Police are asking for the public's help identifying an armed robber shown in a surveillance photo.

The C&S Market on Riverside Drive was held up on Tuesday night just before 8 o'clock. The suspect, described as a white male, entered the store with a bandana over his face and demanded money. Police say he brandished a weapon, similar to a rifle or a shotgun. The clerk gave him all the money in the register and he fled in a dark-colored sedan, heading north toward Waterville. No one was hurt in the incident
