Suspect Who Fled in Handcuffs Turns Himself In

A man who fled a police cruiser while still in handcuffs and without any shoes has turned himself into authorities.He's been on the run since Tuesday.

WGME reports that Maxx Noble, 27 of Otisfield, was arrested for drug and firearms charges. Police put him in the cruiser on Tuesday while they searched his home. State police say when he was placed in the cruiser he was handcuffed, the seat belt was fastened, and the door was locked. Still, Noble managed to get away.

Police asked for the public's help finding the man who was considered desperate and dangerous. On Wednesday night, around 11:30, Noble turned himself into the Oxford County jail where he'll be held until his first court appearance.
