Deputies from the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office discovered a suspected meth lab Wednesday afternoon, according to Department of Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland.

It was found in a mobile home off Call Road in Milford, McCausland said in a news release.

The mobile home has been secured and MDEA agents are expected to go to Milford after they finish examining a pickup truck that was involved in a separate meth related incident in Ellsworth, McCausland said.

So far, no arrests have been made.

A female occupant of the mobile home is cooperating with drug agents in their investigation, the release said.

MDEA agents have responded to 43 meth related incidents this year, an all-time high, McCausland said.
