The Simpson's has been picked up for another two years.  This announcement came out yesterday bringing the total number of seasons for the crew to 28 making it the longest running American sitcom. I am so pumped X-files is coming back to television.  As a faithful watcher even to the point of seeing the movies I never thought I’d enjoy the series again outside of Netflix.  According to FOX they have commissioned 6 new episodes.  Oh but it doesn’t stop there David Duchovny and Jillian Andersen will be returning as Mulder and Scully.

I had forgotten about this TV ad from 2013.  Very tongue in cheek and now knowing what good friends they had become gives it a whole new twist for me. So....This is what happens when old school goes head to head with new school in a battle of speed and wits...
