Tall Ships Will Visit Portland On July 18th [VIDEO]

For the first time in fifteen years, tall ships will visit Maine's largest city!

Eight tall ships will sail into Portland Harbor and then dock on the Waterfront.  One of those ships will be the Coast Guard Barque Eagle!

Arepresentative from Sailing Ships of Portland, the event's organizer, says that not only will viewers get to see the ships up close, but they'll also get to go on-board and meet the crews!

This will be the first such event in Portland since OpSail Maine 2000.  So, mark the date on your calendar and get those sea legs ready!
