DoDoDoDaDaDaSCREEEECH. Yes we remember dial up.  I am sure that we'd feel the same way these teens do if pioneer told us how they took care of business before the invention of toilet paper and indoor plumbing.  Yes, I think it is that crucial to their lifestyles.

Hey, I still pine for my Windows 95. O.K. not really I love how fast computers are now and how small they are.  What I do feel though is fact that having owned and experienced Window 95 on my ships anchor of a Dell that I paid $1200.00 helps keep things in perspective when stuff takes over 10 seconds to respond. Alright...most of the time.

Truth is that like many Octogenarians who pine for a slower pace and a quieter times I can sometimes feel the same of my own past.  However, a better view is the understanding that boomer like myself are really lucky to be the generation in between because although we appreciate today's technology our happiness is not tethered to it.
