Country Music's Sweetheart Carrie Underwood revealed to Jimmy Fallon that the first CD she ever bought wasn't a country album and that she purchased it despite her parents' disapproval.

It really isn't all that surprising. We all rebelled against our parents' music when we were young. I mean, I was at the gates of Opryland when I was 12 years old, and my brothers and I complained so hard about listening to 'that stupid Country Music,' that we didn't go inside. Years later, when my parents had been to the Grand Ole Opry, they reminded me of that!

In my teens and early 20's I wasn't going to Country concerts either. I saw Blue Oyster Cult 3 or 4 times, Black Sabbath, Joe Cocker, and Molly Hatchet. And I have to agree with Carrie, I also enjoy the music of her first band crush!
