The Most Popular Book in Maine

Of course it's a Stephen King novel.

America loves its Stephen King! Mic.com looked into the most popular book in each state based on Goodreads scores. Mainers apparently really dig 11/22/63. The thriller follows the story of a high school teacher named Jake Epping who travels back in time to try and stop the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

Other states that dig the King include Idaho, Arizona, Colorado, Arkansas and Vermont. The five states all had post-apocalyptic novel 'The Stand' as their representative book.

'11/22/63,' by the way, will be turned into a Hulu show. James Franco is set to star in the show.
