The Moxie Festival is this Weekend

It's all about the Moxie this weekend!

The Moxie Festival will take over Lisbon Falls this weekend, July 10-12. The annual event features a Moxie baking contest, Moxie chugging contest, a parade, fireworks, 5K, live music and more.

Friday at 9:10 don't miss the fireworks. Organizers recommend watching them from the High School and Middle School fields, Lisbon’s Midtown and along the Durham side of the Androscoggin River.

Saturday features 20th Anniversary Moxie Day 5K Race. Registration cost $5 for kids and $15 for adults. The race kicks off at 7:30AM behind X-tra Mart, across from the Lisbon High School. Following the race will be the Moxie Day Parade at 11AM. Other events Saturday include a street Fair, petting zoo, Moxie Recipe Contest and Chug-n-Challenge. At 6PM Bon Jovi tribute band, Bon Jersey will take the stage at The Pavilion.

Sunday's activities include the Moxie Car Show and Moxie Family Fun Day at Beaver Park.
