Mr. Bruin, has passed away.

Bruins legend, Milt Schmidt, passed away Wednesday at the age of 98. Before his death he was the oldest NHL player alive.

Schmidt's career would then transition to team coach where he personally scouted another legend in the making, Bobby Orr. He's the only Bruin in franchise history to serve as on-ice captain, coach and general manager.

Schmidt and Orr dropped the ceremonial first puck of the Bruins 2016-2017 season home opener back in October.
