The supermoon is hard to miss, the meteor shower however is a different story.

Tonight is the final supermoon of 2016. This is the third in a series of supermoons since October. What's known as a 'full cold moon' or a 'long nights moon' will be full at 7:06PM.

Because of the bright supermoon the Geminid Meteor Shower will be hard to see. It peaks around 8 tonight. If you find clear skies some of the brighter meteors might be visible.

The Bangor area is expecting lots of clouds tonight. Unfortunately we will likely have a hard time seeing either of the celestial events.
