Don't eat these.

R.L. Zeigler Co. of Alabama have recalled about 5.8 tons of it's chicken and pork sausage because they may be contaminated with bits of metal.

The sausages come in 24 ounce packages that are labeled "Red Hots", and usually hold about 9 links.  The packages were produced on November 29th, 2018, according to the United States Department of Agriculture.

The packages have a "use by date" of January 24th, and a “EST. P-9156S” code inside the USDA mark of inspection.  The government is concerned that some packages may be stored inside the consumers home freezer.

Customers may return the meats to their point of purchase for a refund, or just destroy them on your own
