This Is The Bangor Area’s Favorite Mexican Restaurant [POLL RESULTS]

Let's just say that every Mexican restaurant on our list is EXCELLENT!  Yup, we'd eat at everyone of them, and more than likely have done so numerous times in the past!  But there has to be a winner, and now the results are in! 

So belly up to that tasty plate of nachos, don't forget the salsa, and let us inform you of what may be your next destination!

The POLL stayed open all weekend and closed early this Monday morning, and hundreds of Mexican food lovers voted!

You'll see that Las Palapas Mexican Restaurant at 8 Bangor Mall Boulevard received a little over 34% of the vote!  The restaurant that is housed in what formerly was the Ninety-Nine has been open since mid 2014.  It's now known for great food and fast service!

Miquel's Mexican Restaurant on the Hogan Road in Bangor came in second with almost 26% of the vote.  Known for their excellent food made from Maine ingredients, Miquel's has long been a local favorite!

Pepino's came in third in our poll with a little over 13% of the vote.  The eatery once resided on Stillwater Avenue, but with numerous Mexican restaurants springing up around the Bangor Mall area, the owners decided to move back to where the business originated in 1978 - the downtown area at 49 Park Street.

Those three were followed up by Margarita's on Mill Street in Orono, and Pepino's Taco Stand on the other side of the Penobscot River, on South Main Street In Brewer!
