Last night the City of Ellsworth recognized three members of its police department for a job well done!

Officer Gil Jameson, pictured above,  was recognized for his thirty years of service to the city!  Gil responded on his Facebook page saying, "What an honor it was tonight being recognized by the City of Ellsworth for my 30 years of service to the citizens of Ellsworth.  It has been my pleasure to serve you for the past 30 years."

Gil is the city's former school resource officer, and if you remember he saved a local man's life in July of 2013 by performing CPR after the man went into cardiac arrest.

Also honored at last night's ceremony were Teri Linscott, the EPD "Dispatcher of the Year" and Chad WIlmot, the EPD "Officer of the Year!"

Congratulations to you all and thank you again for keeping us all safe!!
