Throwback Thursday – Christmas at Mama’s House [VIDEO]

Want to feel better about spending Christmas with your family? Check out this little reminder of 'Christmas at Mama's House' from one of my favorite TV variety programs, 'The Carol Burnett Show.' Suddenly the fact that your Uncle Frank flosses his teeth with the tinsel won't seem so bad!

My whole family used to gather around the TV to watch Carol Burnett. We loved all the silly sketches. And we really loved when Harvey Korman and Tim Conway would try to crack each other up. And a visit to Mama's House with Eunice was always hilarious!

Christmas with the Harpers involves a lot of yelling, a lot of finger pointing, and a healthy dose of resentment. Poor Alan Alda for getting sucked into this dysfunctional little celebration. I bet he wishes he was back in that tent with Frank Burns!
