The blizzard that was or wasn't according to your point of view this week, did result in some damage, at least to a Bar Harbor Police Department cruiser. The cruiser was struck by a tree, damaging the driver's side window, side view mirror, and the top of the cruiser, according to reports from the Bangor Daily News.

Lt. James Pinkham of the Bar Harbor Police Department was in the cruiser when the tree came through the window, but luckily he wasn't injured. He had just returned to the cruiser after directing traffic and helping to clear another tree that had toppled on Route 3, near Jack Russell's Tavern when the tree came down.

Things were a lot worse to our northeast, where Nova Scotia was hit by the high wind and snow.
