Great News! It's Homecoming Weekend at U Maine.

A clear sign of fall and the celebration of one of the areas favorite institutions the University of Maine that is UMaine Homecoming Weekend.

Put on by the UMaine Alumni Association Homecoming Weekend offer a little something for everyone alums or not.

Beginning on Friday on the sporting side of Homecoming you can catch a Women's Hockey game a 7PM.

Also Friday evening there is a Planetarium program scheduled at 7PM "Mysteries of the Unseen World" in the Emera Planetarium.

Then on Saturday the Black Bears football team will take on Rhode Island. Game kickoff is 3:30 PM on Saturday.

Saturday evening at 8PM comedian Bob Marley performs at the Collins Center.

Finally an event tailored to the general public and one of the UMaine Alumni's biggest fund raisers of the year is the huge craft fair in the New Balance Field House. This features Maine artisans from all over our great state and for many signals the beginning of the Holiday shopping season. The craft fair will be open on Saturday from 10-5 and Sunday from 10-4.
