TITOs For Tatas Fund Raiser For Sarah’s House

October is breast cancer awareness month and many organizations choose this time to pitch in and fund raise for the cause.  In the case of TITOs for Tatas that effort is being put forth by Hollywood Casino Hotel & Raceway to benefit Sarah’s House in Holden.  Sarah’s House rents rooms to cancer patients who have to travel to the area for treatment. So as a person who doesn’t often frequent the casino I had no idea what a TITO was.  They tell me is stands for ticket-in ticket out. As you play games at Hollywood Casino you get tickets from the machines instead of coins. Once you are finished playing you can turn those tickets in to be donated to Sarah’s House. So if you tend to go to the casino here in Bangor for the month of October you can turn it into something fun into something kind simultaneously.
