Take a deep breath and climb one the hundred stairs to the top of Bangor, because the view definitely worth the effort!

The Fall Foliage Tour of the Thomas Hill Standpipe is scheduled for this Wednesday, October 12, between 3 and 6PM.

You'll enjoy the vantage point is the best in Bangor, as views from the Standpipe's promenade deck just can't be matched anywhere else! You'll see a great views of the City and the Penobscot River Valley!

The tour is free, and the Standpipe is located on Highland Avenue.  The standpipe is not handicapped accessible, and kids under 12 must have an adult with them. The Standpipe is managed by the Bangor Water District. For the latest views from the top of the Standpipe, check out this webcam!
