Augusta police received a call Monday night reporting a tractor trailer truck was stuck under a railroad bridge on Water Street.

Sgt. Christian Behr says the driver, 55-year-old Finian D’Silvia of Ontario, Canada, was using his GPS to find I-95 but took a wrong turn. The truck, owned by Ontario Limited JB Express, was wedged under the bridge for about 2 hours until a local towing service helped clear the roadway. D’Silvia was cited for damaging the bridge. Sgt. Behr says the bridge’s clearance was clearly marked.
