We are all creatures of habit, not a bad thing over all.   However, when habits are such that we begin to do things mindlessly it may benefit us to shake things up a bit.

For example, if you are trying to slim down and become more healthy a recent study showed that if you eat with your non-dominant hand you can reduce what you eat by 30% because it breaks up that automatic hand-to-mouth flow. If you have trouble slowing down, put your utensil in your other hand. It's inconvenient, it's awkward, and you cannot go fast.

The only addendum to this story for me is that being left hand dominant I am really for the most part ambidextrous so I can chow with either hand.  So for me it's next strategy please:)
