"The sweetest comeback in the history of ever"!  That's what will be proclaimed across boxes of Twinkies, Ding Dongs, Hos Hos, and other Hostess brand snack cakes when they hit the shelves once again beginning July 15th!

Hostess is back up and running with new owners!  The brand has now officially survived it's second bankruptcy filing in four years!  Hostess is now owned by Apollo Global Management and C. Dean Metropoulos & Co, who purchased the brand for $410 million back in March.  The two companies produced the one and only bid for the once again financially stricken Hostess brand.

During the bankruptcy proceedings back in March, the Hostess Bakery in Biddeford was purchased by Flowers Foods, giving a lot of workers their jobs back.  That plant now produces Sunbeam, Nature's Own, Cobblestone and other brands.

So in the long run, looks like everything is working out,  "life's little Twinkie gauge" is about to go from empty to full again real soon!
