These songs are great to get wicked lit to, bub.

The Mallett Brothers Band was pleasantly surprised to see one of their songs in a list of 'Quality Drinking Songs' in celebration of St Paddy's. The website UpRoxx put together the list last week, but the guys didn't hear about the honor until this week. Hey, quality drinking songs are great all year round! The song is 'Tip Up' off their latest album Lights Along the River.

The other featured song was the work of the Portland band The Paranoid Social Club. The group is fronted by Dave Gutter who also does solo work and fronts The Rustic Overtones. Dave has also worked on songs with the great David Bowie in the past. The song is 'Wasted' and can be found on the group's 2005 self titled album.

It's super cool to see these bands among songs from Dropkick Murphys, Bruce Springsteen, Chris Stapleton and others.
