Aerosmith front man and former American Idol judge Steven Tyler says a statement he made was taken wrong, and he is no racist.

Tyler had said if Bob Dylan was on Idol today, Minaj would have sent him to the cornfield.

Minaj tweeted that “that” was racist. Tyler said on a Canadian talk show that the last thing he is, is racist.

Minaj has not yet responded.
