U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Sara R. Cole From Hinckley, Maine, Graduates Training

In a press release received today from the U.S. Air Force, "Airman 1st Class Sara R. Cole graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Cole is the granddaughter of Paul Armstrong and daughter-in-law of Leila Cole of Houlton, . She is also the wife of Frederick Cole.

Cole is a 2007 graduate of Averill High School in the town of Hinckley, which is on the west side of the Kennebec River, between Skowhegan and Fairfield.
