According to FlightStupor.com, the U.S. Enterprise, the world's most impressive aircraft, will land at the Bangor International Airport sometime after 4 p.m. today!

The Enterprise, returning from the celestial sphere after a 4 month mission, is being piloted by its captain, billionaire media mogul and aerospace engineer Howard Hughes of Houston, Texas.

Immediately upon landing, the vessel will be checked by U.S. Customs officials for outer space bacteria and Tribbles.

This will be the first time that the U.S.S. Enterprise has ever landed in Bangor!

Mary Martin of Mariaville is very excited about the spacecraft's visit and has been waiting at the end of the runway on the Odlin Road in Bangor for two days. The fan of aviation exclaimed,  "I've got my vantage point all set, and my camera's all charged up, I'm ready! I just can't wait for it to land! I couldn't believe that it was coming to Bangor, but I read it on Facebook, so it must be true!"
