When this Vancouver police officer went undercover in a sting called "Operation Wheelchair" he was expecting to catch a thief. He was shocked to find things turned out completely different!

Undercover Sting Backfires Due To KindnessThis undercover cop's sting backfired. In a good way.

He took to the streets in a wheelchair, pretending to be completely disabled. The idea was to catch people who prey on those who are disabled by doing things like asking for help breaking change and by openly displaying his valuables.

Things didn't quite go as planned. Instead of being taken advantage of by sticky fingers this police officer experienced nothing by kindness and generosity. The first man you see in the video prays for the officer. The next actually helps him conceal the items the officer was hoping would be desirable to a thief.

Multiple people made change for him and no one short changed him, in fact some people just gave him more money and at the end of the 5 day sting he was $27 richer!

I wanted to share this because you need a feel good story every now and then! I hope he gave the $27 he was made to someone who was actually in need. I feel like this is something you would see in Maine.
