Uninspired Sox Fall To Jays [VIDEO]

As trade rumors swirl around Fenway Park the Boston Red Sox continue to play like a team in transition, losing to Toronto 4-2.The Jays collected 12 hits in the game, 9 off loser Rubby De La Rosa who falls to 3-4 on the season. Colby Rasmus had 2 hits including a home run while Anthony Gose had two hits and 2 rbi’s.

Dustin Pedroia and Xander Bogaerts each had 2 hits and an rbi to lead a Sox offense that managed just 7 hits.

Boston announced after the game that Jon Lester will be scratched form his start in the finale on Wednesday as talks heat up about the team trading him before Thursday’s deadline. Manager John Farrell said Brandon Workman will start in his place.
