United Way Postpones Kickoff Campaign Until Friday The 30th

Due to the forecast of rain for this coming Friday, the United Way of Eastern Maine is postponing the annual Campaign Kickoff and Community Rally until Friday, September 30th.

The forecast calls for rain early this Friday, the day the Kickoff was originally scheduled, and even though it may stop before mid-day, the United Way decided that the grass on the Bangor Waterfront would still be far too wet for chairs and blankets.

The Campaign Kickoff and Community Rally will take place on the Waterfront that Friday, the 30th, between 11:45AM and 1PM.  It's free and open to the public, and lunch will be provided by Hannaford.
