Van Halen To Bring Tour To Bangor Waterfront

Legendary rockers Van Halen will bring their tour to the Bangor waterfront this summer!

The band -- fronted by the one-and-only David Lee Roth with the irreplaceable Eddie Van Halen on guitar, Alex Van Halen on drums and Wofgang Van Halen on bass -- will perform on Thursday, July 30 at Darling's Waterfront Pavilion.

The band has sold more than 75 million albums since its inception in 1974. They're produced huge hits including "Panama," "Hot for Teacher," "Runnin' with the Devil" and "Jump." There are really too many to name.

The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007.

News of the tour comes after the band announced it would release a live album, Tokyo Dome Live in Concert, on March 31.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on April 4. Tickets prices will range from $39.75 to $149.75.
